Adam will be happy to see we have figured out how to add photos. Here's our years worth of gear, with the exception of an additional large suitcase Emily plans to bring back when see returns to Veldhoven in March. With the exception of our ski gear, we quickly realized California clothes are not at all suitable for the current weather in the NL. It has not been above freezing yet, but is supposed to hit the low 40s on Monday. I'm really excited.

Avis rental car |
Although we were able to get all our gear on an airport luggage cart, the question remained would it fit in a European rental car?
Fortunately this wasn't our rental car.
Here are some photos of what we are now referring to as our loft rather than apartment. This seems more appropriate since we are living over a home decorating store in a small village. It is the NL equivalent to living at 5 points in Franklin. Yesterday we had a 4 hour shopping expedition to Ikea. Lisa will be proud. We've added a number of personal touches.

Kitchen isn't pretty, but seems to function well |
Emily has done a nice job of setting up the apartment. She's moved a number of decorative items to the attic, which weren't all that attractive. There wasn't too much we could do to improve the look of the kitchen.
Emily is very happy with her new office. I was able to get us a printer from the Cymer office. It did take a while to setup as the original owner was a Cymer employee from Korea and the selected language was Korean, which isn't a problem to change if you can read Korean.

Traditional Dutch Bike |
I purchased a traditional Dutch bike to commute to work (about 1.5 miles) I guess it's about 20 years old, but everything works correctly and I have a 3 month guarantee. There are about 1.2M bike thefts in the NL each year. An older bike isn't immune to this so I'll need to take precautions.
