After we had our fill of flowers, we decided to check out the local beach town and have what turned out to be an amazing dinner. Like in San Diego, we have the good fortune of living on the west coast of Europe and can enjoy beautiful sunsets. In the summer here it literally stays light out until almost 10pm.
Unlike San Diego, the temperature varies with the seasons here and Spring did not come until we were well into May! Here in mid April, it was sunny, but cold and windy! Notice Beau's windshield.
Noordwijk bears little resemblance to Coronado except for the very deep beach with great sand and no shells. We do need to try it out again in the high season to see if our impression improves.
