Of course, if Jeff Clark is in Europe in July, he MUST go to the Tour....
I remember we were sitting around one weekend all bummed out that we missed the start of the tour in our backyard in Belgium this year. Then, as I am painstakingly planning two separate 10+ day trips around The Netherlands, Jeff seems to have booked our trip to the Pyrenees with little to no effort. At least this is how I remember it?

For stage 13, we did something different and went to the finish line. It was exciting to see the crowds and enjoy the seaside town of Agde afterward.

Did I mention that we were at the finish and at sea level? I'm not sure I understand these tactics, but what do I know? Next is stage 14 and the Pyrenees mountains!
