Spencer and Isabelle arrived for their 5 week tour of Europe on June 24 and we met them the following weekend in Malaga, Spain. Malaga was really our jumping off point to southern Spain but we did find the old pedestrian town center to be very picturesque.

Jeff and I seriously needed some sunshine after 5 months in northern Europe. It had been almost 25 years since I had been in southern Spain and back then, I didn't know how similar it is to southern California. We felt like we were home! They had palm trees and everything! The next day we drove down to Tarifa to take the ferry to Morocco.
